Juliette enjoyed seeing the Easter Bunny again this year. She wasn't scared at all and was non-stop jabber mouth the entire time. Maybe she's confusing the Bunny for Santa?

Happy Easter! We had some homemade biscuits and sausage gravy for breakfast (except Juliette who fed Monty her biscuit). Juliette hasn't had much interest in her basket...it's still sitting undisturbed on her bedroom floor. I'm sure next year will be the complete opposite! I am off to work in a little while...BOOOOO. At least I will get some cute visitors, Juliette & her Pops. The Easter Bunny will be waiting for her!
Yesterday we visited some local farms as part of this year's "Tour de Farms." We first stopped by the Flying Dragon Citrus Nursery. Josh spotted some citrus trees that we want to get for our backyard! We then went to Heritage Urban Farm, Pinewood Ranch (where Juliette got to get up and close with some goats), and KYV Farm & Ruffled Feathers Farm (Juliette got to stare at some chickens and hens). I love the idea of eating local and fresh foods! It was great to get out on a beautiful day and see what great farms are in our neck of the woods!
Just when you think that she's cuter than ever before, she gets even more ridiculously cute! Juliette continues to be a happy little girl. She is all over the place now! She is sooooo close to walking on her own. She's still picky when it comes to eating. Starches are her best friend so we try to sneak some fruits and veggies in every meal. She's got teeth coming in all over the place. It looks like she's got some molars coming in! The kid absolutely loves being outside. She can be in a poopy mood and as soon as she's outside she turns into a happy kid. Thankfully, the weather FINALLY feels like spring/summer here in northern FLA. We took her to the pool the other day and she got to splash around. She's due for some swim lessons! The next few months have lots of fun happenings planned! Aunt Mandy is coming to visit in a few weeks. Juliette is going to visit Epcot & Hollywood Studios. And we are heading to Kentucky to visit the family in June. Ahhh...summer! Happy 14 Months my little love muffin!A girl and her Chuck. (Chuck is the lion)
It's been a while since I've been able to blog on here. Spring means super busy for me at work. It also didn't help that Josh & I were both out for the count last week with a stomach bug that someone from Kentucky brought to Florida with them. Juliette thankfully never got it! Juliette has become a busy body! She is non-stop crawling and climbing! We are trying to get her to walk more. She stands up on her own great, but isn't 100% sure of her walking on her own skills. While Cousin Olive was in town (before the stomach bug struck us down), we went to Blue Springs. The fellas all went tubing while the gals walked around the beautiful park. I was probably more excited to go to Cassadaga! Everytime we are driving on I4 I see the sign for it. Cassadaga is known for having a large number of psychics and mediums, and has consequently been named the "Psychic Capital of the World". I just wanted to see what this place was. We didn't stay long enough to get our palms read or attend any séances. I told Josh I wanted to stay at their only hotel for our anniversary, but since he's a skeptic I don't think he is a fan of the idea. Maybe I'll talk him into it sometime!
