This is what a one year old sugar addict looks like.

Last week was my 34th birthday...and that was my cake.  Juliette LOVES cake, cookies, chocolate, and anything else that is mostly made with sugar.  We started the day with some sugar at the Old Spanish Sugar Mill at De Leon Springs.  We are huge fans of this place.  You make your own pancakes at your table.  Ingenious!  After breakfast, we walked around the park, Juliette & Daddy went for a swim in the cool springs, and we rented a paddle boat.  It was a sweltering hot day!  We had a great time!  

She's cute and she knows it.

Juliette is 17 months old today...where has the time gone!!!???!?  Now that she is walking, she is in to EVERYTHING.  Even though she has tons of toys, she would rather play with anything she can get her hand on in the kitchen or in my jewelry box.  Thankfully, there is nothing of value in either!  She has also discovered chasing the dogs, how to get Chuck to drink water from the dogs water bowl and how to climb on the couch all by herself.  She is still the world's pickiest eater...ugh.  She will eat hotdogs, mac n' cheese, bananas, cereal bars, chocolate chip cookies...and that's about it.  We've tried to get her to eat lots of other things, but she wants nothing to do with them.  She's got a full mouth of teeth now.  Her curls continue to grow and get blonder.  Even when she's running around like a lunatic yelling at the top of her lungs, she's cute.  

Even with tomato sauce on her face, she's adorable.  I love this kid!

Happy Fourth of July from the spunkiest gal I know!  After a long week and a half, Juliette is healthy!  Time to celebrate!  Hope you all have a safe and fun Fourth!!!
