Juliette's boyfriend (and future husband), Harrison, joined us for the nights festivities. They had a blast! It is so fun watching them running around together. Probably the cutest little couple to ever walk on this planet. After walking a few streets, we headed back. They loved passing out candy almost more than going trick or treating. And we got to watch Harrison dance for a while. Such a fun night! Cannot wait to do it again next year!
The month of October flew by this year. I feel like with the hurricane, we just skipped half the month. Now that life is feeling pretty much back to normal, it was nice to be celebrating Halloween! Juliette had two costumes this year. One was "Skye" from Paw Patrol and then Nemo. She was all gung-ho about being Skye. She wore Skye to her Halloween costume parade at school...which was about the cutest thing EVER! When I picked her up from school that afternoon, she proceeded to tell me that she couldn't wear Skye again. "Skye dirty." So Nemo it was for Tick or Treating! And a flashback to #harryandjuju from last year. Be still my heart!

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays and I am happy to say that Juliette LOVED it this year! She got the whole saying "Trick-or-treat" thing down fast! She eagerly raced from house to house. She carried her basket the entire time and was fast to tell us she did not need any help. She got a good amount of candy...and being Juliette, she did not eat any of it! There's always next year! p.s. Aren't Juliette & her boyfriend Harrison adorable! Save the date! To backtrack a bit...Juliette was not so excited at first to put on her costume. It took a little while for her to get into character!
Happy Halloween! Juliette took a late nap which totally threw off her groove in the first part of trick or treating. She didn't want anything to do with this Halloween thing. Thankfully, she recovered and woke up to enjoy the evening. We took turns running up and down the street with the cutest little lady bug. Of course, she had zero interest in the candy (she doesn't eat in case you did not read the previous post). She loved the freedom of running like a mad woman while droves of kids flocked down our street. Someone gave her a a glow stick which made her night. Coolest thing ever to her. After a few hours of chasing the kid, it was bedtime. Can't wait to do it all over again next year!
We had a hot Halloween Trick-or-Treat session last night...mid-80's! Juliette enjoyed her first Halloween (but probably not as much as her mom and dad). She had her friends Myalee and Harrison join her...and we didn't get a picture of all three cuties :( Next year we will be chasing her around the neighborhood!
Happy Halloween Eve! We decided to dress the kid up in her costume and get some pictures in case we have meltdown tomorrow. Juliette is the cutest mouse you will ever see! We are soooo excited for tomorrow! Probably more than Juliette is! I'm sure you will all agree that she's the cutest thing there ever was.
Happy November! Thankfully it is finally cooling off around here!
How far along? 24 Weeks Maternity clothes? Yes. Thankfully, I still have some pieces from my post-Juliette wardrobe that I can wear mixed in with the maternity clothes. Stretch marks? Not yet Sleep: Still sleeping great Best moment this week: Just feeling overly excited/happy about everything right now & the reality that baby girl will be here in a little over 100 days (unless I deliver late...) Just trying to soak it all in! Miss Anything? Being able to tie my shoes straight. I now have laces tied to the side. Movement: All the time...just wish she'd move so Josh could feel her too! I'm sure he must be getting anxious! Food cravings: Still stuck on O.J. I also have this love for these snacks called "Somersaults." They are crunchy little nuggets that are baked with sunflower seeds and toasted grains. They are delish! (and healthy!!!) Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope Gender: Girl Labor Signs: No Symptoms: Nothing really...it's been pretty uneventful. No complaints from me! Belly Button in or out? Innie still Wedding rings on or off? On Happy or Moody most of the time: HAPPY! Looking forward to: Having a husband that can work from home! Josh started working from home this week. What a relief to know that he can watch Juliette while I am at work...no daycare for our sweet baby girl! I have to admit that the thought of her having to go to day care scares the poo out of me. God bless he works for such an amazing company! Juliette is the size of: An Eggplant! She is about 9 in. long and weighs approximately 1.4 lbs! Best part of this week...I had my 24 week check-up. All is well! Her little heart beat was 159! The doctor said she must be an active little girl! I go back in two weeks for the dreaded glucose tolerance test. After that we have to go for check-ups every two weeks since we will have made it to the THIRD TRIMESTER!!! I love Halloween! I found a costume that would be perfect for my "current state." Unfortunately, I am not going to do it since Josh thinks it's too much. Darn it. I guess it could be taken wrong... Tomorrow we will be passing out candy to the hordes of children that live in our neighborhood! I cannot wait until next year when we get to take Juliette trick-or-treating! I've already found all kinds of cute costumes for her for next year! Check them out! We could have a family costume! Love the baby flamingo costume! Spaghetti & Meatballs! A baby Oompa loompa ! Only 111 days (or so) to go!!!!
