Juliette got to visit the Jacksonville Zoo for the first time this week! She had a great time and really was interested in the animals! Chuck went with us...he even posed for pictures with Juliette & I by the lions. Juliette chowed down on her hot dog and tried Nutter Butter cookies for the first time. The Nutter Butters were a hit. The new "Land of the Tiger" is amazing! It's like a ginormous hamster cage with all the tunnels! Definitely a must see! A fun day was had by all!

Juliette had a great time at Epcot on Tuesday! It was blazing hot, but thankfully not too crowded! The Flower & Garden Festival was going on still so we got to enjoy all the beautiful flowers...just gorgeous! Here's the infamous "Chuck."
Juliette is 15 months old today! In celebration of her 15 month birthday, we took her to Epcot! We were planning on going yesterday, but when Juliette woke up she had a really swollen red eye. We took her to the doctor and it turns out she somehow had an eye infection. She got some antibiotics and looks like a new kid today! So she got to go to Epcot! (Please note: I should know by May that it is 2014. It's been a long day in the sun & heat, please pardon my boo boo.) Top picture=Today Picture below=Yesterday Juliette has FINALLY started to walk without holding on to things. I was starting to think she would never do it! She still is a picky little eater. She will not eat anything that is bigger than a dime (unless it's a banana or a PB&J sandwich). I now understand the extreme importance of naps. When it's time for a nap, it is time for a nap. There is no pushing the envelope. She has a Blabla doll named "Chuck" that is her best friend. Chuck has helped us get the kid to walk on her own and is the biggest aid in getting her to go to sleep. Chuck went to Epcot today too. Happy 15 Months Juliette Margot! Smooches! The past week has been crazy! We were so excited to have Aunt Mandy in town for the Derby and Josh's birthday! Juliette is starting to be a little hesitant around new folks, so it took an hour or so to warm up to Aunt Mandy. Once she warmed up, she was all about her! While Aunt Mandy was here we went swimming, went to the beach, saw a drag queen show, visited De Leon Springs & made pancakes at the Old Sugar Mill and took lots of bike rides. Unfortunately, Aunt Mandy also got to visit the peditricians office twice and joined us on a midnight trip to the ER. We noticed Juliette had a high fever Friday night. The fever was still there days later. After having every possible test done, nothing was found. Then on Sunday, her temperature dropped to 95.1 degrees. So the doctor sent us immediately to the ER. They couldn't find anything either...just a viral virus of some sort. Poor kid. Thankfully, she has been fever-free and happy the past few days! We are sad Aunt Mandy had to leave :(
