Santa stopped by and left some goodies for Juliette! She wasn't into opening the gifts at all. And we were WAY too fast for her. If she could talk, I'm sure she would have told us to slow down so she could play with each gift for at least 10 minutes before the next one was opened. Juliette got a water table, some new clothes, her first pair of Minnetonka's, her first Blabla doll and LOTS of new toys! After opening gifts, we had breakfast and enjoyed a peaceful day at home. We missed our families, but it was nice to be home and not have to be on the road. I'm sure next year we will head north. The holidays have a whole new meaning when you have your own child! It is soooo much fun! It's almost like being a kid again ourselves! And I know it'll just keep getting better! Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!

Juliette had a big week! Not only did she learn to hold her bottle by herself (FINALLY!), she also learned how to crawl! Within a week she has mastered crawling! It is so amazing watching her grow! I am in awe of her! She now has four teeth and is starting to eat a bigger variety of things. She is very hesitant to try out new delicacies, but after a few tries she usually gives in and decides she is o.k. with it. However, she is only this way with purees. She still won't eat any solid solids oher than some Gerber Graduates. Christmas is in THREE days! I am so excited to have some time off work to spend with Juliette and Josh. I've got lots of fun things planned around the house...including switching out some of Juliette's things. She is growing out of some baby items (sigh). As much as I am excited for her to grow, I already miss my cuddly little baby! She is sooooo independent already! Time really does seem to be flying by! Less than two months until she turns ONE!
We went to have breakfast with Santa this morning at my alma mater, Flagler College. Juliette seems to like Santa so far. I think she'll like him even better after he stops by the house!
It had been about 11 years since I had been back to the Dining Hall at Flagler. It was nice to be back! It was even better to have some of my bestest college friends there to share in the spirit of the season! We sure have come a long way since our college days! And of course, Juliette enjoyed hanging out with her boyfriend, Harrison, too! Another month has flown by bringing a slew of changes. Juliette now has 4 teeth! Her top two teeth are coming in somewhat in a Madonna fashion. She is quite the peculiar little thing. She is not into food at all. She loves prunes still more than anything. She won't try any solid solids other than the small Cheerio like treats. Noodles? No. Berries? No way. Mashed banana? Heck no. Smushed avocado? Who are you kidding. Ugh. Did we take home the right kid from the hospital? This kid is picky as all get out. At least she's cute. Christmas is just 12 days away! The tree is up, the presents wrapped, stockings hung, and breakfast with Santa is on Sunday! Wooooooo hooooooo! Happy 10 Months my little angel! The outtakes from this morning's photo shoot...(It has gotten VERY hard to get a good picture since someone can't sit still for more than two seconds!)
I've been wanting to take Christmas pictures of Juliette ever since Halloween ended. I'm not going to lie...our Christmas tree was up before Thanksgiving. The holidays are even more special now that we get to celebrate with Juliette. I am so excited Santa is coming to our house this year! Anyways, here's some pictures I took of our little angel, "Best Gift Ever!" There were also moments of meltdown...equally as cute if you ask me. She's cute even when she's upset!
