We had a really nice Easter!  This was my first Easter off in a loooong time!  Juliette woke up to her Easter basket full of goodies!  The Bunny got her a cash register that she LOVES!  She plays with it non-stop.  I made a nice breakfast of eggs, goetta and some yummy cinnamon sugar doughy bunnies!  

Dad had to work so he left us after breakfast.  I took Juliette out for a jog with me (she was in her stroller).  She adores being outside!

This year Papaw joined us for Easter!  He arrived in the afternoon, just in time for the St. Augustine Easter Parade!

The next day, we took Juliette to the park.  She just loves running around!

We had a great weekend!  Thanks for coming to visit us Papaw!

Happy Palm Sunday!  Juliette celebrated by throwing numerous temper tantrums and screaming at the Easter Bunny.  This is her third Easter and this year she is not a fan of the bunny.  She screamed her lungs out and would not go anywhere near him.  In her defense, she's been grouchy all day so maybe it wasn't the bunny's fault.  She did stick around long enough to collect some eggs from her first Easter Egg Hunt!  She had more fun opening and closing the eggs than trying to see what was actually in the eggs.  There's always next year Mr. Bunny!

p.s.  Special thanks go out to Auntie Em for bringing Juliette up to the Club while Mommy was working!  You're the bestest!

Juliette turned TWO 2/13/15.  We celebrated on Sunday with some friends at the house.  We had a great time with a bounce house, food & great friends!  Juliette was not interested in eating her cupcake this year...she threw it on the ground (maybe she isn't my kid after all.  I would never waste a cupcake).  She was too busy running around to stop and eat.  It was a "Chuck-tastic" time!

Juliette is the sweetest little girl.  She is 99.9% of the time happy as can be with the occasional temper tantrum thrown in.  She has back molars coming in that make her cling to Mommy, but she has rebounded well.  She LOVES school and her teachers.  She will be moving up to the two-year old room soon.  We have decided to keep her!

Special shoutout to Grams...thanks for all of your help with the party.  I couldn't have done it without you.  p.s.  Carrots are still disgusting.  Especially after they have been regurgitated out of the garbage disposal. 

Juliette is obsessed with this guy named Chuck.  It's been about a year since they met and they are inseparable.  At school, they are preparing her for the two year old room...meaning, no Chuck.  She's been doing good for the majority of the day.  All the kids in her class know who Chuck is and will bring him to her if she puts him down.  It's pretty cute!  

Seriously?  23 Months already!  I think I am in a state of disbelief that my baby is turning TWO next month!  Oh my sweet Juliette!  You are my little cuddle buddy.  You grow on me more and more each day.  You are the happiest little girl.  You are non-stop on the go.  I think you might be a distance runner when you grow up.  Your love for Chuck is the cutest thing.  It's a good thing we have two of him.  I hope this post is not how you find out about that...if so, yes, there are two Chuck's.  You had no clue two existed.  I call that "Smart Parenting."  

Anyways, Juliette is in school five days a week and LOVES it!  Chuck goes to school each day as well.  All the kids in Juliette's class know not to touch Chuck.  Her little girlfriend likes to say "Bye Jewette!" every day when she leaves.  It's pretty cute.  One day, Juliette will return the favor.

Happy New Year!  We had a really lovely and peaceful Christmas at home.  Juliette was not really interested in the actual opening on the gifts...she just wanted to play with them afterwards.  It is so much harder to get pictures of her this year now that she is mobile and on the move non-stop.  Santa brought her lots of toys and goodies.  Christmas is so awesome when there are little people around.  

Oh how I love Christmastime!  It is such a magical season...especially when Meghan Lewis of Meghan Vail Photography can get awesome pictures of a crazy toddler!  Meghan is a true miracle worker!  I have not been able to get Juliette to sit for pictures (for more than a second) for a while now, but Meghan was able to do it!  She captured the real Juliette!

Juliette hung out with Santa for a little while today.  She didn't seem too impressed by him.  She even let him hang onto Chuck.  I wonder what she was telling him...hmmm.  They had a nice chat and that was that,  As she walked away, she did turn back and look him over a few times.  Not so sure about that fella.  

Happy 22 months Kiddo!  Juliette has a mild cold...just enough to make her not the happiest of the happy.  So today we hung out around the house.  You insisted that an hour nap was plenty.  I beg to differ, but wasn't in the mood to fight you since you weren't feeling well.  Juliette is now in school five days a week.  Her teachers say she is doing great and fitting in well.  The last few times I dropped her off in the morning, she entered her classroom and ran off to one of her classmates to steal whatever they were playing with.  Sweet little girl.  We are so excited for Christmas this year!  Not too much longer!  

Happy 20 Months Juliette Margot!  You are such a joy!  It is hard to believe that you are only months away from turning two.  Where has time gone?  You are such a light in our lives!  I tried to put a bow in your hair for your picture today...which you immediately started pulling at until your dad took Chuck from you.  He then proceeded to make Chuck dance...hence why you are smiling so big in these pictures.  You are in love.  With a lion named Chuck.  He may be the only fella your dad may ever agree is good enough for you.  Anyways, we love you dearly and cannot wait till you can say more words even though we may change our minds when you do talk more.  But we will always love you.
