Juliette continues to amaze us! She is the sweetest little girl. She now focuses on things for long periods of time and smiles all the time. This week she has discovered her tongue. She likes to stick it out and roll it around. She sleeps for longer at night too! Last night she slept for SEVEN hours straight! If Josh hadn't woken me up, I would have missed pumping! It is so fun watching her grow and change! Part of me wishes she could stay little forever. Everyone keeps telling me to cherish these moments because they go so fast. And that is no joke!! I already feel like she has changed so much! Her newborn clothes are getting tight on her. It's only a matter of a few days or maybe few weeks before they don't fit anymore. Some 0-3 month clothes finally fit! I guess it's ok to let her wear 0-3 months now that she is almost 2 months old :). I am excited to start putting her in some new outfits. I also ordered some super cute headbands for her from a site I found on etsy. I made sure to get a red & black one so Daddy has a matching headband when he dresses her (which is always a University of Louisville outfit!).
I survived my first week at work. Josh & Juliette came to work on Easter to join me for lunch. It is great that I at least have a job where they can come visit me! It makes working holidays a bit more bearable. The weather is finally getting warmer (yes, I know we live in Florida and to you people up North, 60 degrees is not cold...but we think it is a bit chilly!). So...it's pool season! We are so ready to take Juliette to the pool! The girl has more bathing suits than anyone I know!
In other news, Uncle Chris graduates from Mississippi College's School of Law in a month! It's hard to believe that he's going to be a lawyer! I just remember him as the little kid brother playing with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! We are going to travel to Jackson for the ceremony. It'll be Juliette's first trip! We are so proud of him...what a great accomplishment! I am honored to have him as a brother.
